Woo hoo! Episode 201! We are on our way now aren't we!? It was back to business for NCIS Tuesday night as a new episode entitled Secrets was aired and as with most NCIS episodes this was multi-layered. Between the secret identities of some and the secrets others were keeping hidden from friends this was an episode to remember. The main secrets of the episode (besides the case that no one cares about anyway) was that of one Very Special Agent Anthony Dinozzo. His ex-fiance Wendy returned. This girl is one fiesty creature. A Journalist who does whatever it takes to get her story it is unclear why Wendy is back. Everyone on the team is curious however, especially one Ziva David. When she meets Wendy there is definitely some looks that transpire, especially from Ziva's end. So let's go through this. I'll begin with the Tiva scenes and then talk about some fun stuff about the case.
Tiva moment number one is right after we meet Wendy. Ziva is talking to Tony commenting (as McGee did) about how she is "really cute". She drills Tony on how he is feeling and trying to find out how things exactly ended between the two of them. He says he's fine. This conversation transpires but continues to be interupted so we move on.

Next great moment is when Wendy needs to be put in protective custody after an attempt is made on her life. Vance asks Tony is he would rather have Ziva watch Wendy. Tony laughs, "Not a chance". Eventually the two do get to talk. Tony enters observation to the two laughing. After the awkward hellos Wendy leaves the room leaving Tiva to talk. This is a great conversation to which I will directly quote.
Tony: Ok let's hear it
Ziva: Hear what?
Tony: I'm sure she said something
Ziva: Is there something to tell
. . .
Ziva: I appreciate the honesty actually that is something Wendy said about you, that you were one of the most honest people she knew
Tony: Really?
Ziva: To others she said the only person you lie to is yourself which she said you do a lot
This is the part when I'm yelling at the TV saying, "You've been lying to yourself for the last 6 years you idiot!" Ok so this passes but it is not the end. This brings us to the end of the episode when Tony and Wendy have to have the conversation. Turns out Wendy left Tony. He wanted answers. Turns out Wendy was not ready to find, "the one" nine years. She contacted him now because he was. She could tell he's moved on though. She comments, "You should tell her, whoever she is." Oh I love it! This episode along with many others of its kind is definitely leading up to something. Word on the street is that the two are going to know exactly what they want by the end of the season. We still have a lot to get through though. Ziva is going to see a mentor too. How is she going to feel about Tony? Will they meet? Oh I'm so excited.
My other favorite part of this episode was the super hero story! A lot of shows has been doing this lately. Castle and Psych have both gone about the real life super hero story. This episode went about it in a more psychological view. Ducky talks to Gibbs about the fact that the these fake superheroes were probably victims of violence themselves. In the end Gibbs gives them some respect.
Great episode overall with a lot of development for each character.
Next week: Jamie Lee Curtis and our very own Sean Astin guest star. It's a going to be a freaky Tuesday.
