One Month, A Zillion Shows, So Much Time to Waste

It's almost here people!  That week we've been waiting for.  The Fall Season is about to begin!  Well, we do have some time to kill but I've been getting more excited by the minute!  Each time a snippet of information comes out I get more and more excited.  The will-they-might-they couples, the shows that could potentially end and/or fail this season.  The shows that left cliff-hanger-like and the shows that of course ended with a bang (take this how you will).  So what now?  Well lets talk first about the rundown of that first week of shows then go through and remember where we left off.  Everything I've been looking at so far has been supporting these days.

Sept. 20: Parks & Recreation

Sept 24-29
Monday: How I Met Your Mother & Castle
Tuesday: NCIS, NCIS: LA & New Girl
Wednesday: Modern Family
Thursday: The Big Bang Theory
Sunday: Revenge

October 12: Psych
October 19: Community

I know, I need to make an iCal download for this or something.  I'll work on that.  Anyway so these are it thus far.  Some shows (Smash) aren't starting until halfway through.  I don't think I'm missing anything and I didn't put any of the new ones mostly because I don't know which, if any, will be good.  Go On, Goodwin Games, Revolution, and maybe even Elementary have potential but we'll leave that for another post.  As far as returning shows go however this season is going to rock!!  Let's remember where we left off.  I'm going to skip a few mostly because all ya'll are lamesauce and don't watch Parks and Rec and New Girl.  It's ok because you are watching V-Mars and I love that more than a German kid loves his Schnitzel.  Let's go.

HIMYM:
Anyone who was in the same house as me during the finally knows how I felt about this finale.  There was heartbreak and joy all in the same episode.  Lilly and Marshal had their baby: Marvin Wait-For-It Eriksen.  The show's creators say their is a lot of fun to have this season with that storyline starting with babysitting duties.  Robin Scherbatsky as a baby-sitter?  Who doesn't want to see that.  Then there is Barney.  He got engaged to Quinn the stripper.  Moments later however we flashed forward to Barney's Wedding Day and saw who he actually marries.  Spoiler Alert: It's Robin.  Of course it's Robin.  But now we've got to figure out how we go from Barney being engaged to Quin to Barney marrying Robin.  Creators say this is going to take some time.  When we pick up we won't see a heartbroken Robin.  She is going to jump into a relationship with one Michael Trucco.  He was in an episode back in the day as a crush of Robin's and is now back as a major love interest.  Also, he's Demming from Castle.  It's going to be hard to not punch him in the face.  But I digress.  So much fun this season.  Also it is said that there will be one or two huge reveals in the premiere so you don't want to miss it.  Ok moving on.

Castle:
They consentually broke the law of chastity together.  That is all.  Ok ok no that is NOT all. The season finale was so good!  We had lies, deceit, death, love, joy, pain, beginnings, endings.  Dang it was good.  In the Castle Beckett part of the episode it was pretty sure that they were going to hate eachother until the last 2 minutes and 51 seconds.  She found out that he had been hiding information about her sniper, he confessed his love, she confessed her hatred and he left saying he was through.  I was very depressed as pictures on Sarah's camera can reflect.  Then all was fixed as Kate almost died.  All she could think about was Castle.  She showed up at his place, wet, ready to confess her love.  Well she went up to him and she kissed him and she kissed the crap out of him!  All was well.  So where do we pick up?  The only place to pick up, the morning after.  They wake up in a blissful happiness then the world sneaks in and says, oh wait Beckett did resign from her job, and there is the situation of her sniper still on the loose looking to kill her.  Creators say it won't take long for things to get back to normal.  Castle and Beckett will keep their relationship a secret.  At times Ryan and Esposito will suspect things and it'll be a contest to see who will figure it out first bit Gates has a very strict no dating partners rule.  Ok Gibbs. Thanks a lot.  Ryan and Esposito also have some stuff to figure out.  Ryan betrayed Esposito's trust and this got Esposito suspended.  They are gonna have to make up. This will be in the second episode.  We're going to delve deeper into Castle's father storyline and perhaps this will be the season we solve Beckett's mother's murder.  We'll have to see.

NCIS:
I love this show!  I mean since I was a wee child of the age of 17 I loved this show but it has grown in my heart the way a parasite slowly takes over it's host.  It has grown the way the Grinch's heart grew and this season finale was amazing.  When you stick people like Richard Schiff in the episode as the villain you know you've got good stuff going on.  Last we saw there was a bomb right outside of NCIS.  The villain suddenly became the hero as Jonathan Cole told Gibbs to leave him to defuse the bomb so Gibbs could get Abby.  Alas time ran out and Cole died in the explosion. Meanwhile we had the wedding of young Jimmy Palmer.  The team could not join him with the Dearing situation.  Their was a great Tiva conversation about love and weddings and eloping.  Where that is going I can only hope.  We left each member of the team in different places as the explosion went off.  Gibbs and Abby were perhaps the closest in Abbys lab.  Then there is McGee in the squad room, and then hmmm .  . .who is left.  Oh yea Tony and Ziva.  Where were they?  Where were they?  Oh yea they were in the elevator. together. alone. in the dark. on top of eachother. It's Tiva time.  Gary Glasberg says that there will be a really good conversation and Michael Weatherly just says, "Tiva. Yes."  It's time.  That is all I have to say.  Ducky is probably in the most danger.  Upon hearing the news he had a heart attack and the episode ended with him on the beach of Florida dying.  This is going to be a crazy season!  We know Abby's brother will be back along with Tony's dad.  Also Tony's going to fall in love again.  With Ziva is the hope but we'll see.  There is going to be a big realization for him about halfway through the season.  Brian Dietzen (Jimmy) has been officially moved to a season regular so watch opening credits for that!  It's gonna be good.

NCIS: LA:
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet.  Callen shot a man.  On national television.  Hetty quit.  The good news is that the bad guy is dead. The bad news is Callen is going to jail.  I haven't heard much about the season premiere except that episode two will be a great Densi episode.  Sam will have a big episode this season.  My guess is it'll have to do with his family.  No one know what is gonna happen to Hetty.  She and Callen probably have something up their sleeves.  It's gonna be intense and as always really fun!  That's NCIS.  They never let me down.

Modern Family:
This was a huge episode.  It started with Mitch and Cam getting ready to adopt a baby boy and ended with  pregnant Gloria.  Also Dillan is back.  I don't think anyone in the world is sad about that.  Haley got accepted into college so that'll be a change.  Really I'm just excited for more Modern Family.  I'm excited to see how Gloria will act pregnant.  She loves how she looks, she loves her cute clothes and her high heels.  She's already pretty peppy so what happens when you add a fat belly and hormones to that mix?  I don't know how Mitch and Cam are going to feel about all this.  They can't have a baby and they have to watch as Gloria gets pregnant and gets to go through all of this parenthood again.  Should be a fun season.

Big Bang Theory:
Howard is in space.  He is closer to being in Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, or Firefly than anyone else.  That is kind of a big deal.  His lovely wife is stuck at home with Howard's mother.  Penny and Leonard is neither here not there after he proposed in bed.  Amy and Sheldon are slowly moving forward.  He did after all grab her hand.  Then there is poor lonely Raj who is apparently going to get a love interest this season.  Howard won't be back quite yet from the sound of it.  When he does get back he's going to go through some PSSD (post space stress disorder (made that up myslelf)).  Going through the motions won'y be fun after you've been ya know to space!  I haven't heard much more than that on all this but it should be a fun season.

Well I'm gonna skip Revenge because it's only me and David who watches it and I couldn't even begin to explain the drama.

Well that at least covers the first week of joy!  I can't wait to be honest.  With any chance I will stayed huddled up in my bedroom watching these shows all day.  But that's us. That's who we are.  It's the way we've been since the days of Hurcules and Xena.  We've grown up gone off to college in some cases had kids but we are still us and we still hear that sweet motherly voice saying six words "You Watch Way too Much TV"
